The most important thing to read and consider when renting a van is the rental terms and conditions, which are usually part of the rental agreement. Generally, there are two types of van rentals: self-drive van rental and van rental with a driver. Therefore, the terms and conditions for these two types of van rentals differ as follows:

Self-drive van rental

1. Minimum car rental is 1 day. A 1-day rental is counted as 24 hours. For example, if you pick up the car on June 1st at 10:00 AM and return it on June 2nd at 10:00 AM, this counts as a 1-day rental. Late returns will incur a penalty of 535 baht per hour. If the car is returned more than 5 hours late, the rate will be charged as a full day.

2. For vehicle extensions (adding more days than specified in the contract), please notify us 6 hours in advance and pay the rental fee immediately.

3. Fuel: Receive the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. Return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is not returned with fuel, and there is time available, the customer can refuel the vehicle themselves. However, if this is not convenient, the company will charge a service fee of 321 baht, including the actual cost of the fuel added.

4. Payment is by bank transfer only (cash is not accepted)

6.Car Insurance: The car comes with comprehensive insurance (Class 1), which does not include opportunity cost. If you purchase additional SCDW insurance, your deposit will be refunded as normal in case of an accident. SCDW insurance costs 535 THB/day or 10,700 THB/month and is an optional add-on.

7. The security deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of returning the vehicle, by transferring it to the renter’s account.

8. Smoking in a car: Fine 3,210 baht

9. Bringing pets in a car: Fine 1,070 baht

10. Forgot keys in the car. Fine: 3,210 baht + employee travel expenses based on distance.

11. Losing your keys: Initial fine of 10,700 baht

12. In case of requesting a replacement vehicle during use, the replacement vehicle cost is 3,210 baht.

13. It is prohibited to take a motor vehicle out of Thailand, orit is prohibited to rent a motor vehicle for pawn purposes.

Van rental with driver

1. The driver provides service for 10 hours a day.

2. Overtime charges of 321 baht/hour will be applied if work exceeds business hours.

3. Car rental fees do not include fuel, tolls and parking fees.

4. If the work starts in the afternoon, the last service time is 9:00 PM. An additional charge of 321 baht per hour will apply for service exceeding that time.

5. If starting work in the morning, the earliest service time is 7:00 AM. An additional charge of 321 baht per hour will apply for earlier starts.

6. For trips to other provinces and overnight stays, an additional service fee of 1,070 baht per night will be charged. During nighttime hours, the driver must work until 9:00 PM.

7. If traveling long distances, the driver must take a break every 2 hours during the journey.
